Terms of service

Version 1.0 · Last updated September 10, 2026 · Effective September 10, 2026

These terms describe this informational pre-launch website and the GigiTix ticketing service that will become available when launch begins. This website currently accepts no ticket purchases, organizer registrations, payments, or application transactions.

1. Platform role

GigiTix provides ticketing technology for small and local events. Organizers are responsible for their events, descriptions, venue, schedule, admission conditions, capacity, permissions, and event fulfillment. GigiTix may have payment, dispute, refund, or other legal responsibilities as determined by applicable law, payment-provider agreements, and account configuration.

2. Organizer responsibilities

Organizers must provide accurate event and ticket information, have authority to offer tickets, safeguard account access, use attendee information appropriately, publish event-specific policies before purchase, and handle event-related support. Organizer policies cannot override applicable law or the platform cancellation requirements in these terms.

3. Buyer responsibilities

Buyers should check the event, performance, seating, prices, fees, restrictions, and refund terms before purchase. Buyers must provide accurate contact information, protect ticket-access credentials, and present valid tickets for admission.

4. Fees and payments

Planned GigiTix service fees are in USD:

Organizers may pass the GigiTix service fee to attendees or absorb it. Payment processing is additional. Domestic-card processing is estimated at 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction, with the fixed component applied once per order. Actual processing costs depend on payment method, account configuration, and provider pricing. This estimate does not guarantee organizer proceeds or describe every possible processing calculation.

The GigiTix service fee covers ticketing services and is generally retained after a successful purchase and ticket issuance, subject to the exceptions below and applicable requirements. GigiTix retaining its application fee from the organizer is separate from the amount an organizer refunds to a buyer. An organizer may reimburse a buyer for buyer-paid fees at the organizer’s expense without GigiTix returning its application fee. Estimated processing charges and GigiTix service fees are separate amounts.

5. Refunds, postponements, and cancellations

Buyer-requested refunds

Organizers determine whether voluntary refunds are offered, their deadlines, and their disclosed treatment of buyer-paid fees, subject to applicable law. GigiTix generally retains its service fee on these transactions. An organizer may cover that amount when reimbursing a buyer.

Postponements

The organizer’s published postponement policy determines available options, subject to applicable law and payment-network requirements. Organizers must communicate material event changes and the applicable options. These terms do not create a universal GigiTix postponement refund window or guarantee.

Organizer cancellations

For an organizer-cancelled event, the buyer receives the full amount paid, including buyer-paid fees. The organizer is responsible for funding that refund and bearing retained GigiTix service fees and any nonreturned processing charges. This is the organizer’s policy obligation; it is not a promise of an automatic or immediate refund, and processing mechanics may vary.

Platform fulfillment failures

If payment succeeds but GigiTix cannot fulfill the order because of a platform failure, the buyer receives a full refund and GigiTix returns its application fee. This provision applies to an unfulfillable paid order caused by a platform failure, not every unrelated technical problem or event complaint.

6. Digital delivery

Tickets are digital and accessed through the browser after successful order completion. Paid orders depend on payment confirmation; free orders do not require payment. There is no physical shipping, shipping charge, or physical-product return process.

7. Support

Event questions, admission issues, and organizer-policy refund requests go to the organizer’s published support contact. Platform and ticket-access issues can be directed to gigitixsupport@gmail.com. Buyers retain any rights and remedies provided by applicable law.

8. Acceptable use and availability

Users must provide accurate information, protect account access, and use GigiTix lawfully. Organizers may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, unsafe, discriminatory, or prohibited activity. Features, payment methods, ticket delivery, and check-in tools may change or be unavailable. GigiTix may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, platform integrity, or payment-provider requirements.

9. Policy updates

We may update these terms and will identify the applicable version, last-updated date, and effective date for each version.
